Being both a potter and teacher of pottery to adults, I became a ClayCraft subscriber for a combination of reasons and I’m very pleased that I did.
As the former I was looking for updates about what is going on in the pottery world and for technical articles, both of which the magazine contains in abundance. As the latter I was looking for handy reference material and a library of ideas for my students. It has proved very useful in those respects: They have had a lot of fun attempting some of the projects and their technical knowledge is certainly enhanced through reading the articles. Now I never set off to teach without my ClayCraft binder and many of my students have become subscribers themselves.
I’m very impressed with ClayCraft’s first year of output and I look forward to seeing it flourish in 2018.
