Five-day online ceramics festival
The Ceramic Congress 2021 is running from 27-31 May, with 39+ speakers and more than 72 hours of workshops spread across an amazing five days of clay inspiration. Tickets are available from just $10 for the early bird, rising to $99 for the VIP package.
Doug Fitch and Hanah McAndrew, who have a diary column in ClayCraft will be among the potters giving demonstrations. The Ceramic Congress is the brainchild of Joshua Collinson, founder of The Ceramic School. He was frustrated by the cost and travel implications of other big ceramics events, and decided to hold his own, online version. He has experience of the logistics of this, having successfully run The Ceramic School online since 2016. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever judging by the impressive number of speakers and workshops!
Over the five days, you will have access to:
On the main stage, live pottery workshops, music, and meditations.
Group discussions, tackling a range of topics – from design to business.
These will be moderated, and also open – which means you also get to join in the conversation by turning on your mic & video.
A bit like speed dating – you get to talk for up to 5 minutes with a random attendee from around the world!
All your favourite pottery companies will be there showing off their latest pottery products, and giving you lots of special discounts
